   The picture is of Blind Blake who was a ragtime player. Rev. Gary Davis referred to Blind Blake as having a "sporting right hand." Blake came up with what is sometimes referred to as a stumble bass where he would thumb a note and then "stumble" down a string and get the next string. While many other players now use this technique Woody Mann stated a few years ago that no one has ever been able to get it just as Blind Blake did it.
   
   Matchbox Blues was written back in the 20s I believe. I was written by Blind Lemon Jefferson who also wrote See That my Grave is Kept Clearn. See that my grave is kept clean was later recorded by Peter, Paul, and Mary and the Beattles also believe. Matchbox Blues has been recorded many times by many artists. Keeping with the same style check out Woody Mann, Stefan Grossman, and Rory Block.

   Actually, Blind Blake looks quite a bit like Blind Lemon Melon, or so it appears to me as I was searching.
   BLM is perhaps a bit heavier.

   You are just seeing a little graphic generator I use to spark your mind a bit. It's supposed to be a funny thing at worst, sorry if it was alarming. It is a script from Danasoft.com .

   OK, thanks--I was worried that perhaps there might be some computer equipment incompatability or something like that--I'm a real computer DUMMY, so anything is possible. Good to know there's no problem.
